The meeting, held on Tuesday, April 16, was attended by prominent personalities from the sector. On this occasion, it focused on the Task Force: Innovation & Sustainability, where a discussion was held on innovation oriented towards sustainability, as well as relevant programs and information related to the Foundation for Agrarian Innovation (FIA), represented by Marcela Samarotto, advisor to the Executive Directorate, who presented the foundation’s projects related to the theme of the meeting.
SIAL 2024, the largest food innovation fair to be held this year in Paris, was also presented during the meeting. Information was provided on preparations for the visit of a national delegation to the exhibition, as well as on an event to launch SIAL in Chile, scheduled for June.
Paula Miranda highlighted the participation of CfiAgrotech, which served to make contacts with representatives of the industry and as an instance of feedback for the next versions of the meeting. In its first version in 2023, CfiAgrotech brought together more than 2,000 attendees, in a meeting that took place over three days at the Metropolitan Convention Center in Santiago, bringing together industry representatives around the commitment to move towards a more efficient and sustainable production.
